QD Double Girder Overhead crane 50 ton with hooks is mainly composed with bridge frame, crane traveling mechanism, trolley, electric equipment.

Conventional configuration

Steel Construction

The bridge girder of every Kuangshan Crane is designed to the current  ISO 9001:2000 ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001 specifications and can be engineered to meet other local codes and regulations.

Both rolled structural shapes and welded plate box girder designs are used depending on design requirements.

END TRUCKS

The crane end trucks are manufactured from structural sections and are jig assembled to ensure alignment of bearings and axles.

Dual motor bridge drives are standard; other drive types are available upon request.

Bridge to End Truck connections is bolted.

Bridge wheels are flanged with anti-friction bearings.

Rail sweeps and rubber bumpers are standard on all end trucks.

HOISTING MACHINERY

The hoisting machinery consists of a Kuangshan heavy duty industrial type standard wire rope unit mounted on a low headroom type trolley.

Motors are totally enclosed fan cooled, hoist duty with Class “F” insulation.

Gears are precision machined from alloy steel and induction hardened. All gearing is enclosed in a rugged steel housing and is oil splash lubricated.

Steel wire rope drums are precision machined.

Rope drums are available in both single and double grooved configurations.

Hoists are equipped with rope guides to prevent over lapping of the rope on the drum and to extend rope life.

Upper and lower hoisting limit switches are standard equipment.

The trolley is fabricated from structural shapes and plates to suit the application.

GEAR BOX

All gear boxes are made with fabricated body/casting body and consists of hob cut helical / spur or helical and spur gears, Gears  & pinions having hardness 250 to 350 BHN made from carbon alloy steel. All gears & pinions run on antifriction type ball / roller bearings in totally enclosed oil bath giving constant splash lubrication. The helical / Spur gears are designed for adequate strength and optimum wear resistance for smooth operation & long life.

MOTORS

All motors are specifically designed for hoist and crane duty and enclosed fan cooled with Class “F” insulation.

The motors used are especially crane duty suitable for frequent starting , reversing & braking in accordance with IS-325. Motors are totally enclosed in dust proof construction, foot / flange mounted  TEFC , Sq. cage / Slip ring motors with integrated safety brakes, insulation class F, IP54 protection for hoisting, CT & LT motions.

BRAKES

Electro Hydraulic Thrusters / Disc brakes for all motions.DC/AC Electro Magnetic Brakes or additional brakes can be provided on request.
